Express the purpose of your note card: If the purpose is to thank them for a gift, their time or whatever, state that. If the purpose is to express your hope that the person will get well soon, state that. The first paragraph should be used to let the recipient know why you are writing. |
Write about the particulars or the use: For thank you cards, say how you will use the gift. For note
cards used for other purposes, express
you thoughts and regards for other matters |
Repeat original thank you message: Allow a short sentence or phrase to repeat your original purpose in an abbreviated form. If thank you, simply state, "I want to thank you one more time". |
Give regards: The note card should close with love, sincerely, in appreciation or some similar
term. |
